Book 39
On the last day before I hit the big Four-Oh! I am working on the last edits of my book. The book will show you my paintings for the BP Travel Exhibition, studio shots, some art history and a sprinkling of lace history. I have written the book because I wanted to celebrate and mark the year in which I worked for my Travel Award. It has been an amazing year and I hope that this book will provide some background information about how my paintings came about, and what I have learned along the way. The book is self published and will not be sold for profit. It will complete the exhibition that will soon start at the National Portrait Gallery. It will be available from my website. Available for pre-order soon. Publication date 26 June.
Done!
This is it. All 10 paintings collected today and off to London where they will be catalogued, photographed, and then (most of them will be) exhibited at the BP Portrait Award 2014!! Excited. Scared. Unsure. Sure. 100 days to go until the opening of the Exhibition to the public! \
