I am really proud and happy to share the news that my painting ‘Lace Lines’ has been selected for the annual exhibition of the Pastel Society. The exhibition will be held, as usual, at the Mall Galleries in London, from 10 - 21 June 10am -5pm daily. Is it ok to re-visit some drawings? Here is a series of drawings I did over the past year or so. Most are still available for sale, so let me know if any of them appeal. Prices vary between £100-£600. Most feature fabrics and drapery, of course, except the self portrait and the study of Rembrandt. All are graphite pencil on white paper. Hope you like them. :)    

Some of my lace collection, 17th and 19th century, used for my BP Travel paintings. Front right is a 19th century needle lace. Behind that and on the left is a 17th century reticella (Italian) and at the back, slightly darker coloured, is an Italian bobbin lace from around 1620.
